haha, i've been busy with finishing up school and when i take breaks i come check out what you crazy kids are up to. the supercharger one was already written up.

No Im not kidding. :rollseyes Quadcammer did provide a lot of valuable info but he did not say what brand of supercharge is the best or he thinks is the best. If you would of read my post more closely you would see that Im asking which brand of supercharger do you think is better since theres many different kinds.

that is not enough information.

how much hp do you want?
how much boost are you planning to run?
do you want an intercooler?
how much do you want to spend?

just about all the readily available kits are totally fine for a street strip car. it depends where you want your power, how much you want, and how much you want to spend.

do you mean sitting like sitting at a light, or like sitting as in the car being turned off?

might be a valve seal or pcv issue or possibly a bad ring.
