I've been trying to decide what flywheel I want since I'm not Procharged anymore. I had a steel and now want aluminum. Seems like fidanza is the cheapest but is the quality good? Lmk your guys experience with different brands so I can figure out what's right for me. Thanks

I have had the same Fidanza for six years and about 30,000 miles. I have had no problems, and did one insert change when changing from the CF to Spec 3+ after building the motor.

I have a Spec billet aluminum flywheel with 2k miles for sale if you're interested. PM if so. I also have the matching Spec Stage 2 clutch to go with it, same miles. Car was totaled a month after installation.

Love my firdanza. Only have 500-600 miles on it with my spec stage 3+ but it's mint.

So steel replaceable friction plate > all aluminum? The frpp unit was more expensive than a lot of others when I priced it I thought

There are no all aluminum flywheels: either all steel or aluminum with a steel insert. Our stock flywheel was aluminum with a riveted steel insert. The Fidanzia and other aftermarket aluminum flywheels have a bolted steel insert that is replaceable when you change clutches or if the insert is toasted.

Oh that makes more sense to me then. I was thinking that the aluminum would get torn up by the clutch.

My car came with the fidanza aluminum flywheel (has LFP name on it though...I know...) and I replaced the insert along with a spec 3+ and it drives great.
