One glace at the dyno sheet and I can tell you it needs work. From the looks at it, it has never even been tuned. I would get a good wideband installed ASAP (I recommend this for any Forced Induction Car) and I also recommend a proper tune.

would you be able to look at a log for me? I have a car that's not running great right now. It seems to run worse once it gets warm and its super rich (big plumes of black smoke when you wack the throttle) I replaced the 02 sensors and plugs as a wild guess. There are no codes being thrown at this time either.

Theee man has spoken. @04sleeper is a legend with the Terminators. He awoke the sleeping giant within my Refire Cobra.

I recommend a proper 04sleeper tune.

What type of o2 sensors did you put in the car? If you did this, I hope you went motorcraft, and not counterfeit motorcraft sensors bought on eBay or Amazon. Also, no big name box store Bosh o2 sensors. They're laggy as all getout. I bought my last set from American muscle. I don't remember the brand but i was having issues getting the motorcraft o2 sensors at the time. I haven't had any issues with them and they're still on my car.

My car with a hurt motor made 454 horsepower with a steggy ported blower with a 2.76 pulley on pump gas with an absolute garbage fuel system. I didn't know what pump setup I had until I tore it apart when I rebuilt the engine. It wasn't fun finding all the garbage that had been done to my car and I'm shocked it made the power it did. It had a canned tune in it and the o2 sensors had been disabled and unhooked.

Now I'm at 700 hp thanks to 04Sleeper tuning with a healthy cammed engine.

@svtioshua pay close attention to what @04sleeper posted. Seriously! He is a renowned tuner here. So do not drive your Cobra any more than you have to while you search out a good tuner. Heck, PM him and let him set you up with a tune! Don't wait. Do it.

Thoughts on the NTK sensors from the local parts stores?

I thought NTK's were the go to replacements if you couldn't find Bosch? I ran NTK's before I went full widebands and didn't have an issue with them.

Are you still running the FRPS? Did all of this happen out of no where?

It might be worth posting a new thread.

Sadly I've been told by friends that off first glace it doesn't look tuned.. Thank you for the advice and I will be looking forward to seeing a new tuner in the next few weeks when my car arrives in GA. She left me yesterday :')

Thank you as well for the advice and tips!

To answer your question from several replies ago about the tune details.. I called the Shop, I asked What Software, How Many Pulls, Timing.. all I got was "We will have the tuner answer that for you when he comes in" and I never got a call back! So moving forward, I will be looking locally when I get to GA and get more advice from local tuners as well. I see @04sleeper is in Dallas, I'll be in SATX this coming late June.

I just might. Might get the "he's not in right now". The car was shipped home yesterday because I am leaving the state I am in so there's really nothing that can be done now besides see a new tuner.. So I am taking my L and gonna start again :/

If they didn't tune it I'd demand at least a partial refund. They'll probably stiff arm you but I'd try anyway.
