Life has been extremely busy for me the past few years (changing jobs, moving to a new state, opening a business ect...) The car is finally built and on the road again, still working on tuning, but it's driving. It's been in the garage or storage unit for almost 2 years without being cleaned. Things have finally started to settle down so I got her all cleaned up and took some pics in our new location. Still plenty to do but overall it came out nice. I'll ne limited by fuel, these id1050x injectors aren't up the the task of big boost. So for now I'll settle on the 20lbs or so and then upgrade to so id1700s and go full send
Debating about a wheel change. Thinking Weld RTs with 17s in the back and 18s up front. And also contemplating a complete wrap to change it up. Any thoughts on a color?

A few more pics and an idle video of Todd's cams doing work. Like I said, still working on the tune so the idle will come down a little. These 3" bassani Mufflers really tone down the chop at idle. May have to look into a different muffler too

I’ve said it many times. There are not many convertibles that get my attention. However this one did, awesome looking cobra man. Can’t go wrong with some Weld’s. However those CCW’s look amazing. Clean and simple.

I like it the way it is. I need those American Flag bumper inserts in my life. I also need a styling bar on mine.

Gorgeous car, sir!

She looks beautiful. What’s the specs on the motor?

I make over 800 on my 1050’s and looking to turn it up more. I’m hoping to squeeze 900 at 50 psi base pressure. Then I’ll upgrade again.

Beautiful car! I love the stance on it, if it were me I'd leave the ccw on it. Those sp500?

Sent from my SM-G781W using the svtperformance.com mobile app
Thanks.
Yes sp500s. I think they look great just wanting something different. This car has had: polishes classics, bbs rk, black classics, tf chicanes and now these. Needless to say I like my wheels, ha

I agree, I wasn't a vert guy until I had this car. My kids love it so im not sure I could go back.

Some guy on FB was making them a few years back, definitely makes the rear end
Good looking car
Coming from you, means alot. Thanks

From one sick vert owner to another, thanks.
General rundown: 10.5:1 teksid, refreshed heads, Todd's cams, gen 4 crusher (3.25 upper with factory lower), full bassani exhaust, fore fuel with id1050x, j2fab cooling mods and all boltons to support everything. Pulley combo should be right around 20lbs. I'd imagine I'm going to max these 1050x pretty quick. Hopefully we can dial it in with these until the summer then I can switch to big boy injectors and put the 4lb lower on. I'd. Be happy with 800 on baby boost right now.
Haven't been over half throttle yet as I'm still on the start up tune. Will be doing some logs soon to see where everything stands.

Very Nice. I see no problem making 800 as is. Very similar to my build, at 22 psi I made 822. Can’t wait to see how she does on a real tune.

This is beautiful. We have a very similar set up (minus the build motor). I wonder my todd cams are similar to yours. Maybe identical.

I had some of the 18/17 welds and they looked great. Highly recommended. They would look killer on a black car.

I'd be interested in those SP500s when you are ready to move on.

She is looking really good! Love all that you've done, mods wise. The hood vents look good, and work even better. How are you with the exposed wheel studs?

I remember when you bought Kevin's old set up. I looked hard at those when he was selling, even when you were selling. Just didn't like the tall rear tire. When/if the time comes you'll be the first to know. It would be easy too since you in FL, we could just meet up
Did you use the EMP pump with the J2FAB stuff?

Where/how did you mount it? I'm not happy with the way mine turned out.
Yes. Hard to get a pic but I have it in the general location of the factory pump. I made a custom bracket that hold the pump I'm the correct orientation. I'll see if I can snap a pic. Can't say it was my ideal set up but it's the best I could come up with that keeps everything clean looking

That's. This hood gets attention everywhere we go. Steve/Carlos did a great job collaborating on it.
Wheel studs are what the are, don't bother me

Did you just run the line over to the passenger side? Mine is mounted on the drivers side and there isn't nearly enough room with my fuesbox, oilfiler relocation and now the EMP there.

I was concerned with the pump not being 100% directly under the tank.. I'm probably over thinking it. I wanted to move it to the passenger side, so I'm glad you have done it will success. Thats what I'll end up doing!
