bout 8 months ago, bought my Sonic Blue '03 coupe for 23k with 30k miles on it, Bone stock down to the filter, has the extended warranty until 75k or middle of next year. (already got a TOB retainer and such out of it )


Drove the M3, wont lie, very nice car, but just not the same feeling as the cobra, would love to have both, but oh well. As for the Z06, drove a few C5 Z's, phenomenal car, but i needed the back seat, plus...its a chebby ;-)

I got my Torch Red 10th Anniversary Cobra coupe a little over a year ago and paid 28k. It was bone stock with 372 miles on it. It took me a couple of years to find it but I finally did. I would not budge on what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. It took some time but it was well worth the wait.

I know... It was a car I was looking into for a little while. I just dont want to put a ton of money into a Cobra and have another impractical car. I'm going the Cobra route though, just have to find the one with the mods I want adready done.

the key is to find one as stock and low miles as possible... that way you know it hadnt been run the crap out of.... do the upgrades yourself, so that it caters to the type of driving you do... just my 2 cents:thumbsup:

I actually bought her from a dealer 250 miles from home, and hadn't negotiated the price until i got there (they were asking $28k). I couldn't be happier with her.. Go for it!
As mentioned above, the key is patience. Oh, and private sellers- if you can get financed to buy from one.

I don't think an M3 is in the same class as this car powerwise so no on that.
I think a Z06 might be the better car for someone who doesn't have mechanical ability. The Cobra is an awesome car if you're prepared to fix all the issues and refine it a bit, but expect to invest some time and $$$.

Bought my 03 DSG off this site a little over a year ago. Paid $24,500 with all the mods in my sig and several suspension mods I didnt list. 35,000 miles on it when i got it. Just turned 50,000!! Never had a problem with my "modded" TERMINATOR!:rockon: Down to $17,000 now!!
