Wasn't there an EV or else aspect in dealership upgrades?

When I worked for Enterprise Rent A Car back in 1992-1993 The Lincoln Town car was a very popular request. I rented a black one for a week and loved it.
Started out that way, then litigation quickly changed that
The Italians and old people loved them.
I had a 91 Town Car for a few years, loved that car. It was like driving a couch.

What year had the air bag suspension that failed and was always riding on the ground? I used to see them dragging their tails all over down here.
Mine had air ride I forget what year they started, mine went out looked like I had dead bodies in the trunk. I swapped coil springs in.

I think 90 when they redesigned it to the more aero body.
@13COBRA Nick, been catching more blips about negative equity in new car buyers being an issue. Seeing that in your market?
No sir. Used prices have gone down some...but not a whole lot. I'd say most are 10% or less upside down.
EDIT: Of course I can run a report...
For the last 6 months, 18% of sold customers are 10% or more upside down.
For the last 3 months, 16% of sold customers are 10% or more upside down.
For January 19% of sold customers were 10% or more upside down.
The same ones in Texas are sitting and sitting and sitting
They are stellar highway cruisers, and much less money to work on than a BMW.
You can't give them away. They have over 1 year of supply on lots.
There's a used one here, with I think about 30,000 miles on it. Owner is asking $25,000 for it.
