Nowhere did I say a dct is comparable to a 3 pedal car. I said his comparison of driving experience between a performance dct and an auto SUV with paddles is silly.
I get his point. Just say that instead of trying to compare it to a mommy mobile.
Some dct's are clunky. Some aren't. I've enjoyed the performance ones I've driven. But I'm also not a 3rd pedal or nothing kind of person.
This was the exact point I tried to make with him but by his reply I quickly realized the comprehension level I was dealing with so I choose not to continue. Kudos to you for trying though.

But you're not following me off road. And unless you're running bottom 10s you're not keeping up in a race.
From my knowledge the world's fastest explorer has barely cracked into the 10s.

Rented one in Colorado. Thought it was hot garbage. The super cruise was the worst I’ve driven. The turbo lag was terrible. Can’t say I liked a single thing about it.
