That is going to be a nice combo. I have been kicking around installing that intake on my current setup. I will have to check yours out this spring.

all the parts for the engine are in.

Had to pay a little extra to get the Ross custom pistons to us in a week and a half. Tony didn't want to use an off the shelf piston and time is short.

A few other pics, includiing the meziere electric water pump we are putting in.

lol, we'd be done already if we hadn't decided to swap the heads, intake, and cams lol

the cams are pretty big, so we'll be degreeing them in tomorrow night and locking them out.

getting close

the engine is getting bolted back to the tranny tonight and put back in the cradle, then button up some stuff over the next 2 days, and try to start breaking her in

Thanks for the update, good to hear everything is coming together. Since your testing for ford what kind of info wil they be waiting for? #1 if you can blow it up in a few runs? or #2 a tear down after so many runs and check cylinder? Just wondering how they are testing

i don't expect it to go after a few runs, we got a year and a half out of the last block

this in theory should do better,

getting there....

brian should be done degreeing the cams in tonight, then should be smooth sailing.

Engine is already hooked back up to the trans, and on the cradle.

The ID 2000's fit much nicer in the new intake than they did in the boss.

Any updates on how the new sportsman block is holding up? Have there been any problems? Any word on ford releasing it for sale?
