Must have done so much better because they pumped the sound system with fake engine noise. Maybe they even used the soundtrack of a GT500.

wow and i thought the camaro was high priced from the start. at least its going to a good cause. not like these dudes are not gonna use it as a tax write off or something.

Out of curiosity does anyone know how much the first 5th gen Camaro sold for? Or if it was even offered at the Barrett Jackson auction

The first 5th gen Camaro SS sold for $350,000

Lol. $300k for a base Mustang GT is dumb as hell. I can think of about 100 other cars i'd buy with $300k. The Camaro is even more stupid. $650k for that? Lol. I guess idiots will blow money on anything.

Yes, these were charity auctions. They usually get well above what the cars would normally command.

It really doesn't shock me that GM cars sale at a higher price. At a auction i mean after all much better car all around.
