Buyer advice for a noob: mustang or camaro/firebird?

So what I want is a car that, stock, is still decently fast but that as years go by I can add to. I want something cheap but also something that won't FALL apart.

I may actually be falling for a Mustang instead of an f body. Or Mayb I'm just dumb and I can't find an ls1 for my budget with less than 100k miles and I'm trying to convince myself to buy a Ford cuz I thought itd be cheaper.

But seriously though, some people overprice their f bodies

Either one will get you what you want. It just comes down to styling and driving feel.

Love t-tops... But nothing beats the sound of a healthy 281. Both cars are relatively fast for their time but not fast by today's standards...if u go f body the ws6 would be my choice...if I had to get another mustang (non svt) it would be a mach1.
