As the title says I’m building a new snake pit. It’ll be a large single car heated/cooled garage with an attached 2 Car carport. I’ll have a bathroom and large utility closet in it also.

I built the pad myself. We just got the concrete poured Thursday.//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171219/051aa0c8d6bcba80c4691f366876f0d7.jpg[/IMG
I’ll start framing this weekend.

Very cool.
Going to be pretty bad ass. What's up with the pink lumber? Is it a coating or something? I've never seen that before.

Thanks all! I think the pink is just an identifier that their pre cut studs. Their 104 5/8” which makes a 9’ walls. As far as square feet price I’m not sure. I’ll do all the work less concrete and brick. I budgeted 30 thousand and that’s with lots of pad.

We almost got all the walls up. Wife had to make a material run as we added a window, so that slowed me down some.

Maybe I’m missing something, but especially since it’s going to be a heated/cooled garage wouldn’t you want the storage and bathroom doors on the inside so you don’t have to go outside to reach them?

The bathroom and storage are for the pool we’re getting in the spring. There more for my wife than me. Plus I don’t want all the traffic around the Cobra.

I can't wait to see the finished garage. Sounds like it's going to be stellar.

When I saw the thread title, I thought for a second that it was a pit for real snakes. LOL.
