I turned in my 2015 Silverado with the 5.3L and decided to try something new, got a great deal with the A plan. It has the 2.7L, not gonna lie this truck feels way quicker and just overall nicer then my Chevy. My friend owns a performance shop so we decided to put it on the dyno bone stock for a baseline. After a few pulls it made 290hp and 350Tq to the wheels on 89 pump. We didn't have time to do a tune but I will in a few weeks, the tuner said he expects big gains with it. Also plan on doing a level kit. Overall i am very impressed with this truck.

I also plan on doing a level kit this weekend.

Get the SSI tune for your truck. It will melt your brain how violent it will be. I have the 3.5 with his tune and laugh my ass off every day over the tq. Your truck looks great. Enjoy it and keep us informed as you mod it.

Love the new F150s. They are imo the best looking out of the 1500s with a small lift or leveling kit. Good choice and nice numbers!

Me too. OP has a great looking new one there. Every time I see a new F150 on the road I am like damn that is nice. As a previous owner of these great Ford trucks 1995 F150 Lightning, 1997 F150 XLT 4X4, 2000 F150 Lightning, 2002 F250 XLT 4X4 and a 2004 F150 Lightning I always get the urge to get into a new F150 or a Raptor. Not quite ready yet but somewhere down the road.

Make sure you go to SSI and get his no lag tune. My wife honestly won't drive the truck anymore because she can't pull away without peeling out, then the vent to atmosphere dumps all the boost and makes a hugs pshhhhttttt sound that everyone looks at. Lmao. I love it though.

OP - that's a gorgeous ride. I love these new F150's but I'm too cheap to drop that kind of coin on my daily. All the mod money goes into the Mustangs.

I can attest to how that. My Edge Sport hauls serious ass, too. I pretty much leave it in Sport mode most of the time. Throttle response is awesome.

Your new F-150 is really nice. I like the paint color a lot. Enjoy it!! ;)

I sold my powerstroke a few weeks age picked up another work van. I've already borrowed one of my dads pick ups 4 different times. Im really thinking about an f150 ecoboost. Can you get one of these with a real 6.5' bed though?
