Anybody in vegas?

Yesterday I went to the Gaudin Ford cruise-in and there were a few dozen Mustangs from the 60s on up to 2013 Shelbys and Bosses, a live band, refreshments. It was part of Barret Jackson. Pretty cool. I also go to the cars and coffee once in a while in Henderson on Saturday mornings.

Ive been here for about 3 months and only seen 2 cobras and a gt500. I see a bunch of evos, imprezas and rice buckets. Always asian drivers as well, lol. See alot of M3s and M5s as well, not too many mustangs though. Im hoping to pick up another terminator here soon so would love to meet up with some fellow owners/enthusiasts.

I live over in the southwest area, mountains edge off of Blue Diamond.

I'm over in Breckenridge. Nothing big I know of coming up. Just the usual weekly things around town. Cars and coffee and such. There used to be a Mustang gang that met on Sahara at the In N Out. Don't know if they do anymore.

Im looking for a catback to buy and when I do I plan on polishing it. What catback you got? I know it takes like 10 hours to do the whole thing.

10 hours seems about right. I've probably got about four hours into one pipe alone.

Right Stainless steel catbacks are much easier too do. Im thinking about getting the new stainless steel Flowmaster system.

When you do polish the catback, buy the sandpaper on eBay. I bought 30 sheets ranging from 220grit to 2000grit for $12.00

I was at the cars/coffee in Henderson yesterday. Grabber blue '13 GT500, a few other GT500's as well. Maroon Cobra from the 90s which looked sharp. Some 5.0s. Saw a GTR that looked downright nasty. Lots of Vettes(not a hater of them), 6 Shelby cobras from the 60s. Some dude had a twin turbo V12 Mercedes, saw an R8. Some nice old muscle from the 60s too.

I was thinking about bassani but not been happy with the sound clips ive heard. Ive always liked the flowmaster sound and now they have a stainless steel system.

Just down the street from me in Henderson, not too far from Ford Country, at the intersection of Lake Mead Pkwy and Boulder Hwy I have seen a large Mustang gathering at the Albertson's. Forgot the club that put it on. Lots of late model Shelby mod cars like Super Snakes, since Shelby is local. But also quite a few classic 60's Mustangs were on display.

When is this? Yea I hardly see any Mustangs over this side of town (SW area). Ive seen a Redfire vert and a redfire Coupe 03-04 cobra around silverton casino/hotel. Also a silver gt500. Thats it in about 4 months:shrug: Seen a few newer models GTs as well but nothing that looked modded.
