Air filters..recharge or replace?

i would just replace if money is not an issue. too much work to clean and re oil, plus you run the risk of over or under oiling your filter.

I recharge mine. First time I did it I now know I used WAY too much oil. But even then still didnt have any problems. Been working and looking great.

On every other car I've had I just replaced it.

Kind of side tracking, I bought my cobra w/ the motoblue intake system on it. I just want to replace the filter, which filter should I use? I can't find a motoblue one anywhere. I dont really want to have to buy a whole new intake just to replace the filter....

Have you ever looked at a K&N fresh out of the box? LOL they bath those filters in that stuff at the factory. Just recharge, why throw your money away?

good point. but it dont remember the filter from jlt being too bad when I received it in the kit.

I have a new 10" S&B Filter I am selling if anyone is interested.

the RAI filter is 4x9" will a 10" fit? mine was very tight to install
