After almost 10 years, I bought the Cobra I've always wanted

In 2002 I happened to pick up the latest issue of Car and Driver at my uncles house and saw the new Cobra on the cover.

I read the article and was in aw with what i was reading. When i was finished I knew one day I will have one. Since then, on and off I have scrolled thru Autotrader, Forums and even Craigslist just to see whats out there. Last week i happened to look on Autotrader and came across this Gem. I called thurs night, went and looked at it sat morning, and was holding the keys monday early evening.

Its a 2003 with 96xxx miles but its in excellent condition. Mods are K&N Filter, Magnaflow Catback, Pulley and a swanson tune. Car is stock other then that. The guy i bought it from was the orignal owner and it was his DD. Car was garage kept and it shows inside out. It drives like a new car and is so smooth, i love it. Ive owned a 95 GT vert, 95 Cobra coupe and 2 98 Cobra coupes and none have compared to this car. On with the pics...

Oh and before anyone says anything, the caliper covers are def coming off when i get sometime this weekend.

Congrats! I remember watching them come off the car carrier in 03 and drooling at them. The anniversary Cobras at the local dealer all sold for 10k or more over sticker and were prepaid before delivery. The black vert like I have now was first off the truck and I said I would someday have one.

Similar story with me and my Cobra. Spotted an 03 Sonic Blue when they first came out, and remember saying to myself "one day I gotta have one just like that".
Picked it up last year and love it as much today as the day I picked it up! Enjoy!!!

Thanx everyone! Plans are an X pipe, H&R Race springs, MM CC plates and then enjoy it. She will see mostly DD duty still. I enjoy driving my cars :thumbsup:

I too watched them. I had a 02 GT at the time and really wanted to trade for a 03/04 cobra one day. I ended up going to the dealer just to lool at the new 05 body style. I had no intentions of buying anything, I just wanted to see the new 05. They had just started getting them in. They were clearing out the 04's of course and I ended up buying the last 04 cobra they had on the lot. I got it for thousands below sticker so I couldn't turn it down.
Enjoy the cobra. I still enjoy mine every time I drive it.
