But I don't have to tell you how hot and how cold the air is coming out of that vent which is going to be directed right at the back of the gauge while impeding the airflow. These are calibrated instruments, try touching it after a while getting blasted by the heater.

Not a good place to mount a gauge IMO

Starting to reconsider buying now. I'll know for sure what I'm doing once I get the final price on these.

Updated. Hopefully they will get a little cheaper.

I think the last price was $275 for (2) but that was with only a couple of us buying in. Now we have (26) vent pieces so hopefully we get a pretty nice price drop.

275 was for 3 or 4 people or 6-8 pods. I cant remember.

Well since I only designed it to try to help N/Angel(Ana) to find something to fit her needs, I never thought it would be wanted beyond a race car application or a select few that wanted it.



Also since its never been in a car then it would be hard for anyone to guess the affect it would have on the gauges or the heating and cooling abilities of A/C system.

I am sure the heat cold fluctuations in the vent are nowhere near the temps you get with your gauges sitting on the pillar mid-summer.

Pending the price I may be in. I am starting out on my mods so I need to invest wisely before I drop that much coin on a gauge pod.

maybe I missed it, but didn't see it asked or mentioned, can you do these in ABS plastic or plastic like factory? It would reduce cost and look more factory. Anything billet is awesome, but just a thought

I'd have to take deposits from almost everyone in order to sell them at that price. That way I dont lose my butt on pods if people back out after I order them.

I think we should keep this open for another couple days then start accepting payment once we have our 30 minimum. To keep it simple, I recommend just paying in full instead of deposits.

Right now, we have 30 if we count SVT Pille (undecided) and 10thSVT_03 if he decides to get (4) total.

So without them, we are at 26. Come on folks!
