Got out with a friend Friday night for some pictures in a couple different locations.

Looks wicked.

Can someone clue me in on what "rig shots" are? Is the rig the camera?

No. It's a rig that is built to take photos. The car is pushed at a slow speed to make the background look as if it is going really fast due to long shutter exposure.

The "Rig" is then photoshopped out of the picture.

Here is what a rig looks like.

The first photo is amazing. What a great desktop image it would make. I didn't know what a "rig" was either. I learned something new today. :)

Thanks guys! :)

If you want desktop shots, you can click on the picture in the second post. It will take you to his flickr and you can save the photo or choose from the other photos.
Very high resolution.

Poster shots for sure. What is with the fog/driving light beam in the last photo. Is part of the beam shopped out?
You could get paid to do that with others cars.
