So you're saying it's the "Donald Trump" of Corvettes? The worst kept secret in the automotive world.
The people who want to like it will, and the ones who want to hate will as well.
The current ZR1 is what $140,000 for that price there are much better platforms out there.
What will make it to dealer lots first, the C8 or GT500?
Don’t hold your breath for the latter to come back with a V10. I bet the viper comes back but I think many purists will be disappointed with the drivetrain simply due to cylinder count. Just my opinionI'm looking forward to a full reveal. I hope to see a V8 still in the car.
I'm also hoping Dodge brings the Viper back, and keep a V10.

For $140k, what is better than the cz ZR1?So now people are going to be able to step into a mid engine super car in a few years, getting one of these on the used market. Something they would have never dreamed of being able to do before.
How can anyone view this as a bad thing??
To those that think it is, what were they going to do to progress with the current front engine design? It was pretty much maxed out with the C6 ZR1.
The current ZR1 is what $140,000 for that price there are much better platforms out there. This was an easy logical next step.
GT500 will not be faster than the C7Zr1 by a long shotIs anyone actually paying $140 though? I see them on the lot at $120-125k
This was my first thought - that the GT500 was king for the brief moment b/w when it was released but did not hit dealer lots. Base mid engine vette will probably give it a run for the money on the track.
