6th Gen ZL1 runs 9.99 @ 140 mph with minimal mods

Welp. I’ll be that guy to bring up a hellcat.

They have chargers damn near running mid 9’s with little more than pullies. Basically tune, pullies, driveshaft, e85 and sticky tires.

This camaro probably has $15k or more into it.

Hell straight from the shops website. Stage 1 Hellcat adds 200rwhp for $3k. Stage 3 ZL1 adds 150rwhp for $9500.

Maybe you are reading this thread on a mobile device and can't read my signature, but my drag racing experience is extensive and this is my first Chevy (I still own a 04 Cobra and a 93 Foxbody with a 351W). I haven't run the 2018 ZL1 yet, because I bought it new in December and tracks simply aren't open.

It looks like you primarily hang out in the S550 forum, so you probably haven't seen many of my other post. Enjoy your Stock '15 GT.

The new Zl1 is a beast of a car, on and off the track. Sure, it wasn’t cheap, but getting a car that sets records on tracks isn’t.
