Really? They were so focused on his hip that they didn't notice the injury to his arm when he was taken to the hospital after the accident? :eek: :dw:

To have the turn signal lever in his arm that long is wild. He's very fortunate it didn't cause an infection. Wow!

The article says about 10 years ago he had an xray done that showed a pencil-size object in there but since it wasn't causing him any pain he didn't elect to remove it. I think I'd be a little more curious about what "pencil-size object" was in my arm, pain or not.

im assuming he only had the metal rod portion of the signal switch in his arm. i could see how that could puncture into his arm and with out an x ray be over looked for just deep tissue bruising and a cut or gas at the original time of impact.
