It's tongue in cheek hate on my part. Although I know some people whose whole lives revolve around the success of their team. Most of them are not people you really want to be around.

I agree. I have a couple of buddies like that, completely wild haha I have 0 interest in being around them during games.

We have one of those at work with Oho State. They went to one semester and the world revolves around them. On Monday, you get did you watch the game, I'm like, what game. lol

i thoroughly enjoy watching the cowboys implode every year but at the end of the day I dont really care what happens.

Never got that…why waste so much energy on hating another team, its all bullshit anyways, the rivalries etc… At the end of the day , the NFL is just bunch of grown men getting paid a f’ng shit ton to play a game.. I enjoy football, but will not spend the time and energy on hating anyone.

Me, I've been in a local NY/PA supermarket chain the day of a "big" game and when the cashier asks whom I'm routing for, I go into a dissertation about the importance people place on a mere game. They asked.

It's always been tongue in cheek hatred from me. Other Eagles fans whom I never associated with want Cowboys players to get hurt and die. They are the broke ass derelicts you see in the streets in Philly when you watch a Rocky movie.

Edit: Jalen Hurts is questionable for tonight. Apparently, he's been fighting an illness for a few days. Marcus Mariota is the back up QB.

Yup no clear front runner..Dallas pushed in the Eagles shit previous Sunday, then got theirs packed this Sunday. Got a lot of 10-3, 10-4 teams that could be contenders. Did not expect the chiefs to be 9-5 this season. Guess maybe the 49ers would come the closest to being that dominate frontrunner… the playoffs will be interesting.

It's a billion dollar Roman circus (tens, if not hundreds of billions if you start counting casinos, black market gambling) but it used to just be a game which was essentially simulated warfare with hometown pride at stake.

Then players started going to highest bidder, teams left for "greener pastures," etc...go watch the intro to Baseketball for the whole explanation of the downfall of American sports.

Regardless, this is the nfl discussion thread, so convincing people in this thread that pro football is just a game is the equivalent of coming to svtp and saying EVs are superior in every aspect of any vehicle ever made
