After taking delivery of my 2014 Mustang GT 6M I went right to work by first getting a set of 19" AMR Charcoal Wheels and Mickey Thompson 255/40R19 Front and 285/35R19 Rear Street Comp Tires. However, the rears were not up to the job and were quickly replaced with 305/35R19 M/T drag radials.

Next I installed all BMR suspension parts and welded up the axle tubes. I went with their adjustable UCA w/ relo bracket, LCAs w/ relo brackets, Panhard rod, and Lowering Springs. GT500 mufflers were also installed at this time for a better sound and the larger tips.

After speaking with Justin and BJ at VMP I decided to go with their Stage 2 kit. The reason I selected this kit over the Roush kits is that it includes the big JLT intake, ported elbow, larger AFCO heat exchanger w/ dual SPAL fans, and tuning support from Justin.

My base line 1/4 mile run before installing the supercharger was a 12.86 @ 109mph on 93 octane. I also performed a 60-130mph VBOX test which took a depressing 13.4 seconds. After installing the supercharger I was back at the dragstrip and clicked off an 11.33 @ 125mph. What really surprised me was the change from 60-130mph. It was now capable of doing 60-130 mph in 8.1 seconds! The only change was the installation of the supercharger.

That's a 1.5 second ET and 16 mph improvement in the 1/4 mile ....and the car was able to do 60-130mph 5.3 seconds faster than before!

Since then I have installed a Shaftmasters DS, Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe, MSD 2-Step, Autometer Boost Gauge, and MGW shifter.

Overall I have been happy with the VMP kit. Justin has been good about communicating with me and sending me updates to the tune as I make changes.

Looks awesome Mike!

It has been a pleasure working with you, and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store - especially knowing the car that you previously put together, lol.

Your rear axle, is it powdercoated..?
Looks 100% better than my rusted one.
No. Checkout my other thread on the rearend.

All your mods look great!
What tool did you use to mod the front timing cover?
I used a 4" angle grinder with a cut-off wheel.

Thanks for the positive comments! Here is a video of my car at the track working the 19" drag radials.

Nicely done sir.

Have you tried being a little more aggressive with the launch?

That's what I used to mod my cover and the results look remarkably similar. A little patience and a steady hand and you can almost make it look like it was machined.
How are you liking the driveshaft? I installed mine last weekend but there's a long wait ahead for me to test it. Tons of snow up hear this winter.
Very tastefully executed mods by the way.

I'm working my way up with the MSD 2-Step. That was at 2300rpm. It's real easy to spin these 19" DRs with a manual. Going to an event called Pony Wars @ SGMP in a couple of weeks and that track hooks, so I will try 2500-2800 rpm then. I plan getting some 15" ET Streets eventually w/ an RXT clutch ...then I can really launch it!

DS is smooth. I've been up to 130mph with it and noticed no difference. Thanks!

Had a good day of racing at the Pony Wars event at SGMP!

I flashed the car with a race gas tune for the first time and added 5 gallons of MS109. This combo allowed the car to go faster and faster with each consecutive run. My last run of the day was an 11.03 @ 132mph!
