Making some great progress!
Loving this thread man!
Any chance you could snap a pic of the downpipes to valve cover/coil cover clearance?

Things are nearing the end. All that remains is to reassemble the front end of the car, install boost gauge (which has yet to arrive), and install MSD fuel pump booster. If you look closely at this picture, you will also notice I installed the transmission dipstick tube. It's easy to check fluid level now.

It's just what I expected from you...perfection. Last time we talked you were planning to trailer it somewhere (maybe pbh?) to be Lund tuned. Is that still the plan?

Also what did you do for exhaust? I'm guessing you'll keep your magnaflow setup but what the midpipe? Did the kit include a new one?

Very nice Troy. I was hoping for a thread to pop up with our texting session being put on hold ;-)

In before the Amsoil hate starts. Umm higher weight Motorcraft would have made that engine even cleaner because.... owner's manual said so

Oh wait, you don't own a Boss..... I kid I kid :poke:

Speedhut boost gauge was delivered, so I decided to install it. Not wired up yet. It does have a warning light with highest memory recall to help me with over boost prevention.

I did make an order with Summit Racing for a vacuum block with top tier hoses and fittings.

Just curious. Does amsoil coolant really work?
Thought of using it to cool the Roush tvs :)

Amsoil coolant has advantages like low toxic formulation, stop leak properties, superior anti-corrosion properties, and super long life. It's not cheap, but worth it. I use so little antifreeze in Florida, I recycle what I drained out of the car in a far lower percentage (about 80/20). However, I do add Amsoil Dominator Coolant Booster. This is what straight water mixed with the recommended level of ADCB look like.

No antifreeze in either picture, just water and ADCB in different light.

No, Lund will not tune a turbo kit from anyone else since he is directly involved with Fluid. TruDyno in North Carolina is remote tuning my car.

Yeah, really sorry about that. I have been so involved in this build, even the better half has been reminding me about ignoring the world. *to stop doing it*

Well, what can I say.....Amsoil does what it says it does. I've been running Motorcraft 5W-20 in the GT with twins for about 20 miles now while street datalogging and a fuel run. Just about time to drain it for Dominator 10W-30, getting ready for the real power after tuning is complete. Motorcraft was for the engine flushing and leak testing phase only. No leaks, and all is well.

Your fine man I was just giving you a hard time. I know you've been busy with it and lets be real your car is more important than our texting convo especially since its not like I am in need of that info right this minute. Take your time.

I did figure you'd enjoy that last part a little more though
