Hi guys

I have a 2009 GT500 and I just got a set of Nitto NT05R tires size (315-40R-18) for the rear. I know they cannot go on the stock wheels since they’re not wide enough.

I was told I need min 18 x 10.5 wheels but I cannot find anybody making them for the GT500!

Please help

Just buy a set of used stockers and send them to Weldcraft so that they can be widened properly. I paid $100 shipped each for used, like new stockers including sensors.

He may get it on the rim but it won't fit properly.

Weldcraft........like another said, do it right and get them widened.

I contacted Weldcraft. They said $230 per wheels and it will take 3-4 weeks at this time.

I can't understand why companies are not making wider wheels for the GT500.

I found 18 x 10's.
FR500 Wheels : Lethal Performance, Performance parts for Ford Mustangs

Is that wide enough for 315's? I know they recomend min 10.5", but can 1/2" that important or will I be OK?

Thank You for your help and feedback guys!

I have 315/35's on a 10 inch rim and they fit fine.

Can your wheels clear the Brembo Breaks? I'm interested in 18 X 11 but will they rub? Please give more details.

I'm also in Los Angeles area. I hope we can work something out!

brembo front brakes? arent the stock brakes brembos? those are all gt500s right there with brembo brakes.. unless youre referring to the rear brakes in which case, yes, we can make them to clear big brakes in the rear as well. ive put wheels on gt500s with AP Racing 6 piston brakes on the front and rear no problem :coolman:

no, 11s will not rub. give me a call if you'd like to discuss 818-357-2531

Steve- Could you give me the specs on the wheels on the black/tungsten car and the red/white car?

Love both combos, thanks!
