What Mitsubishi needs is a grandslam. All of their products (minus the EVO) blend into their fields. No standout performers. Diamante? Galant? Lancer? I don't think most people even know about them.
I'd like it alot better if it was FI, had four wheel drive, and was reasonably light. It doesn't look like it'll be any of these, and I believe those are the features that made it a hit in the first place, with racers and posers alike. Ricers need somebody to imitate, to really latch onto a make of car, I figure.

eh.....the only way its gonna be a hit is if they make a "GSX" version with this one. but the styling is too bland.

actually it looks like they r going back to the second gen look....i sorta like it but the second gen are still the best
I Loved my Built 2g. Im 6'6'' so it was small for me......but a 12 sec built turbo car with awesome handling and AWD launches at 5,000 rpms

Bringing a post up from the dead but they just tested this new Eclipse and the numbers are surprising. Just thought I would share the info ;-) .
POS FWD went :
0-60: 5.8 seconds!
1/4 mile: 14.4 @ 101mph! :thumbsup:

It looks like a 350Z.
