Looking good, I can't wait to do this to mine!
Nice. Sounds good. Wait til you throw a smaller pulley on it, gets even better!!It's running. Tuner is going to fatten the tune up. It runs lean at idle. No vacuum leaks.
The whistle this thing makes is insane. I never would have thought it would sound like this at idle but I like it.
Next video and update will be the dyno tune, final numbers on 93+torco and E85, and driving impressions.
Overall, the hardest part of the install was routing and cutting the fuel lines. Wiring in the fuel system was super easy.
2.75 is what I’m thinking. I can’t find a 3in.Nice. Sounds good. Wait til you throw a smaller pulley on it, gets even better!!
That will be a party hahahaha. Stock lower and 2.75”…. 26 psi.2.75 is what I’m thinking. I can’t find a 3in.
@2003RedfireVert I may have missed this, but did you stud the heads? 26 PSI a lot of boost for stock fasteners. Not saying you can’t run it, just something to be mindful of.
I’d venture a guess that anything beyond 20 is getting a little dicey. I alway error on the side of caution though. To my knowledge and as I’ve read, you can stud the heads while the motor is in. I’ve swapped cams with the motor in, so there’s room…albeit limited.Right now it will be around 20psi with the 3.5 but yes if I go that high I’ll stud it. That is one thing I’m worried about.
Are folks studding at 20lbs? When is it recommended typically? So folks stud it with engine in the car one stud at a time?
I’ve had two people reach out about it. I’m going to hold on to it for a bit.You think of a price for that ported blower yet?
It drives really well. I’m setting up the tune date. 93+boostane and E85. This accufab single blade throttle body is 100X nicer than the dragon I had on the Eaton setup. It is so smooth, light, easy. My dragon was horrible compared to this accufab.
I’ll have some videos when the tune is done.
One issue is when putting gas in it shuts off immediately. I must got an EVAP line off or or pinched or something when I put the tank back in. It won’t let me put gas in it.
Is that on the end of one of the small hoses that connects to the filler neck ? That has to be what I did….Or you messed up the spring on the end of the full nozzle. It is stupid lite and if you break the plastic retainer it will jam and not allow gas to flow in just like you are experiencing.
