I think I will stick with my 99 Cobra. Something about nice interior, 7,000rpm redline, 4 camshafts, 32 valves, and aluminum block I like. :-D

Stick with your teal dinosaur. Let me guess...its slow as a rock because you are scared to mod it because you think it will be worth some money later if you keep it stock. :lol1:

If you want to call it that. Just call my Cobra Dino the dinosaur then!

I looked at this car personally. It has had paintwork on every panel. When I drove it, the water pump went out (which he was going to fix, along w/the header leak) the car is in fair condition. (offered 9500 which was being very kind) car had a blower at one time but it is off & the oil pan has a cap where the blower line was.

He never said anything about that to me, but then again I didnt sware on his credibility either :nono:

I ran a 12.78 at 107.34 and a crappy 60ft of 2.19 with my 93 Cobra. Only thing I did was 3:55's and Flowmasters. Had a real nice cool day and no speed shifting, just hitting them hard.
I now run 11.60's with a 9 lb Powerdyne. These are the only mods!

Racerbox77 I agree with you 100%. The 93 cobras are on there way up. I also think the 03-04 cobras will do the same in time, since its the only cobra made with s/c and IRS rear. As with the 93's, stock with low miles will bring the $$$$. The 1st and the last TRUE SVT COBRAS! :coolman:

Agreed. By the end of the year I should be looking for a low mileage 93. Gonna put it in the garage and drive it on the weekends as I do with my '04. I would never seek a 99. They do nothing for me.

I have 17,000 miles on it, I am the original owner. Not until a few years ago did I do anything to the car. I have the factory mufflers/gears and everything to put it back to 100% stock just in case...

I call :bs: on a stock 93 cobra with street tires and no weight reductions running mid to low 13s. I don't want to hear what the guys in MM&FF ran either. Those guys for some reason ALWAYS seem to run like 1/2 a sec faster than anyone in the country! I could realistically(sp) see a "stock" Cobra running low 14's to high 13's with drag radials though

You can't call :bs: if you don't have one and haven't raced it. I have seen so many 93 Cobra's run in the 14's. Go talk to them and they granny shift at 4,500 rpm, still have the timing at 10 degrees, the air box in and a 2.3 60ft. I raced mine when it had 12,000 miles on it, completely stock and my best was a 13.82 @ 102mph. I had a 2.2 60 ft. When I did 3:55 gears, Flowmasters, timing at 15 and remove the airbox with some great wires and plugs, I got a 12.78 @ 107.34 with M&H DOT tires. No with gears and better mufflers that's not too modified? I did dyno it a few months ago for the first time, I have 269rwhp and 312rwtq. Keep in mind I have it tuned perfect! EEEC IV tweaked, fuel pressure etc... I wish I would have done a baseline years ago.

Nope, that was a so called baseline before the blower install. On the dynojet June 10th I have 431rwhp and 456rwtq.

I never said "high" 13s were not possible from a showroom "stock" 93 Cobra I said i seriously doubt people can get mid to low 13's out of them when they are showroom "stock" If you went 13.82 at @ 102 mph I would say your car runs EXTREMELY well for being stock. if you did that with a 2.3 60 that would mean it is what a low 13 sec car bone stock. Which I still find very hard to believe but whatever..........

I doubt I could have got low 13's, maybe a few tenths quicker with a better launch. The car does run very well. Gears and a blower are awesome though!
