Brake dust damaged the finish. Is that rust on the wheel barrel or just dirty?
Yeah I figured it would but a had the brakes and like the hands on, personal experience.Told you it'd work.
I drove around on my wheels without cleaning them for probably a year or so. I blame 60-65 hour work weeks and traveling every week. :/ Either way, the dust got wet and had awhile to do its thing.Gah I can't believe brake dust did that much damage....doesn't make me very confident in Forgestar's finish quality...
Given the increase in rotor height, thickness and possibly rotor face thickness (I took measurements but need to post them), I'd guess 1-3 pounds.I put on the 6-pot from GT500 on my GT, and those massive 15" rotors weight a lot, seeing the difference on how the 2015 15" rotors are thicker and taller, I wounder how much more do those weight compared to the GT500. I think GT500 rotor weight around 31-33 pounds each.
Yeah, they aren't cheap. They work great but I did notice that the extra weight did make the car not as nimble on turns, was even thinking about buying 2 piece rotors to drop some of that weight, but dont have funds for any at this time.
How the hell do all these used Brembos end up with so many nicks/dents in them?
Russell stainless lines, not 13-14 GT500 lines, other wise correct. Unless I missed where 2Fass said GT500 lines will work.
