Well guys, it didn’t last long. Blew the motor and almost died going not sooooo slow. Engine blew, oil hit the rear tires while spinning very fast and almost hit a wall, but came unscathed.

Here are more pictures of where it all happened, where it blew up, lost it across all three lanes, came about foot close to the wall and than across all three lanes again before I could get it straighten back up. I was cable to drive it home, didn’t turn off and didn’t loose oil pressure lol.

Wow….what a bummer. What are your plans? I’m really sorry to hear.

Well for now I have exhausted all my fun funds. The plan is to take the engine apart. The short block is done as we can see. If my heads are good than I will reuse them on a build short block. Of course I will need a lot more help from some of y’all picking y’all’s brains and seeing which way I should go ,from a financial point of view and what should I buy and where to get my parts from and which parts are best.

I am still mind blown, not just by the fact I almost killed myself and those with me. But, the fact that the engine is near new and on a great tune where everything looked perfect and it blew. I wonder if something was weak from factory ?

I am a loss for words really. I remember I had a 97 cobra turbo, stock everything. I used to beat the living hell out of that thing, drove it for thousands of miles and it never gave me a problem. Yet, this car couldn’t handle a bit of boost. Things happens and it’s part of the game, not really too mad about it.

What’re y’all’s opinions and thoughts on all of this.

Sorry to hear that. Coyotes are stout so I don't have any ideas what happened. Bad luck, I suppose.

But: blown motors are a gift as they are an excuse to do a full build. Make some lemonade out of those lemons!

Yeah, I can’t disagree with your statement there lol. As for these engines been stout, from everything I have seen online and people that constantly abuse these engines they are great. From where I am standing not so much lol.

It’s a sad day for me for sure lol, but crap happens you know. Just need a good plan moving forward and build something once. I wonder if ford would cover it if the supercharger was not installed.
