A GLS 580. Some plane tickets. A new kitchen. Kids’ Christmas gifts.
All I really want is for someone to buy my CanAm X3 so I can buy a big turbo Evo though. Sad
Anytime we are traveling and aren’t taking the camper we use AirBnB or Vrbo. Couldn’t tell you the last time I stayed in a hotel. Typically save money and have a way better experience renting someone’s property
Both cars have OHC engines with many differences overall, a significant one being the number of valves.
Are you really going to tell me that 2 engines in 2 cars, with all things being identical other than how the valves are mechanically opened, are going to have different exhaust tones?
Sure, have a seat. This one is complex lol
1) Open 5th beer of the day
2) Coat ribs in Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub
3) Throw on smoker somewhere between 225 and 275
4) Have another 7 beers, pay zero attention to time
5) Spritz with apple cider vinegar if remembered

I used to only carry PM2's until the Para3 came out.... now the PM2 feels too large.
Re: sharpening, I like the Spyderco Sharpmaker. Impossible to **** up and leaves a nice edge
No idea... 99% of my blades stay in the box and in the safe. My daily carry is a Para3 in S45VN and I have no complaints. Holds an excellent edge, only have to sharpen it once every 4-5 months or so
Most ridiculous thing I've read all day
I'll be in Denver again at the end of the month, will be making my annual pilgrimage to the Spyderco factory store and spending way too much money
Entered for my first KCBS comp in 2 weeks from now with a buddy. 2 day cook, turn ins Saturday and Sunday. Have done a few local non-sanctioned comps and done pretty well but never an official one. I’ll post up pics from the cook and hopefully some decent results at the end
Don't be scared of brisket.... people make it out to be hard but I think that's just because everyone wants to over complicate it.

We've been fortunate with buying houses. Bought first one in 2012 for $270k, sold in 2018 for $415k. Bought our current house in 2018 for $650k and could sell now for $1.2M. Unfortunately everything else has also gone up and we aren't likely to find our current 30 yr/2.99% mortgage again ever.
Seems to have cooled off a bit in the past few days. Sitting at the Palisade Brewery now and it’s 93* but feels like an upper 70’s evening back in VA. **** humidity
