I've got 113k miles on my OEM alternator with a stock pulley. I'm switching to a 2.9 top pulley along with an engine rebuild. Is the pulley change going to create alternator issues?

I just ordered a set at Discount Tires for $191 per tire. I decided not to get another set of GS-D3's because they are about $240 per tire and the Nitto's are stickier (200 tread wear rating versus 280 for the GS-D3). Have any of you run these?
