Fix for vibrating driver side mirror

There's a guy on here selling replacement bushings that go behind the glass and it fixes the issue. I repaired it on my car. I can't remember his name it may have been sick88lx but not sure. I still have the other bushing that came in pack somewhere I'll look for it.

His screen name is quick88lx. I couldn't find the thread. If you tilt the mirror down you can fit a small hook in there to get to the tabs. I had to do that with mine. The tabs were stubborn and broke the gears.

Be careful when removing your mirror. Too much pressure can cause breakage. Sounds like the success rate, though, is high with this kit.

Your right about that one Bob. I cracked my Glass taking mine off last year to do this fix that sucked. I had to get a replacement mirror glass. Thankfully they are available.

Aw man I want to try this but I'm afraid I'd break the glass lol. How much is replacement glass?

I don't remember. It wasn't to bad. Burco is the company that makes it. They have it on their site.
