I know someone who just bought a 1000 XP Northstar which was in the upper 20K range. It's nice and all having a/c and heat but I'm not sure why you wouldn't just get a used jeep at that point.

obviously there are people that will buy it but as mentioned, not sure why you wouldnt just buy a small pickup, the 1500lb bed capacity is the only advantage it has.

That's the dumbest way to spend $40k I've ever seen.

a friend was looking at something like this for his property and ended up getting a used jeep for significantly less. this was before used car prices blew up though

or buy a Roxor , even though I hate how jeep sued them and they had to make them ugly .......

Thank you ,I found it on an import list looking for Japanese mini trucks and had to have it. Its also got a dump bed so its very handy. Its a 3cylinder turbo Diesel with a hydrodynamic drive.

Those things are cool and functional. Not the all to end all, but useful none the less.

I have a non-XP Ranger premium that I like and works great for me. Now I don't have acres and acres of ground to cover, but I can see a niche for this.

But like everyone else, that price!

yea its slow like 15mph max ,but im not giving up my pickup tuck or 4wheeler

side by sides prices have gotten outrageous might as well buy an old jeep.

mostly people with more money than brains.

I cant imagine there are many scenarios where you need to carry 1500lbs to some remote place in the woods that a small truck couldnt go or just make a couple of trips with a smaller sxs.

Then again, people are paying over 20k for a run of the mill 4 door sxs, I guess going up to the base model isn't THAT much more. Still crazy

My 2021 ranger 1000 was 17k and i bitched about that....msrp 14k then add plow, winch, winshield, doors etc...i use it constantly for farm work...if i gotta do heavy moving or towin...i got a tractor lol
