I agree with you! Another car thats gonna be hard to come by real soon. Mines still unmodified and completely stock for now. Gonna send it to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering for some upgrades.
had a 13 tune and CAI only. 44K miles when I traded it on the Redeye. It is a very distinctive vehicle. Rides much better than most high performance coupes.

Redeye swap aint a bad deal from a CTS V. But your absolutely right about the ride performance to other performance coupes.I really enjoy driving mine.

Dang, and I'm over here itching to get rid of my '12 V sedan. Heads, cam, flex fuel, ported blower, full catless exhaust, etc, should be making close to 800 to the wheel, but I'm itching to get into something newer and preferably AWD.
That 12'V is tastefully modified. Gotta pic of it? You only live once!! Gotta do what makes you happy man!

That's a nice Caddy, Vinnie. Only 9K miles. Just driven on sunny weekends?

What are you planning on having Lingenfelter do?

Thanks CobraBob! Thats my substitute (Quick Fix) to keep me from diving the shelby all the time...lol. Yea im going to let Lingenfelter do the work. Im still debating on few different pkgs they have. Right now Im thinkin of keeping it in the 700rwhp range nothing crazy. I kinda hate to mess with it just because its unmolested and all original but letting a reputable company like Lingenfelter do the work will keep the integrity of the value in place. These are getting hard to come by these days in this condition and with low mileage.

This should tell you how I feel about the car lol. I don't have any photos of the car except for this one snapchat photo that google photos saved when I took the photo in 2020.

Nice Man! I really like that color w/ black rims(y). Saw one just like yours up for sale the other day 57k but not with all the power you have, just hope you dont regret it if you sell it. These are getting hard to come by in that condition and there price is starting to climb.

Thank you for the kind words.

However, I feel as if I was short-sighted and did not think of resale time when I purchased this car. It has a salvage title, odometer can't be trusted blah blah, and I believe that I'm the 4th owner. I wouldn't get anywhere near what I could get for the car, and that's if I could even sell it privately due to the title.

How'd you like the RS3? I usually have sellers remorse for every vehicle I sell....

Seems like I have sellers remorse too :D

I feel like I should have kept the '18 with the 10r80, as we know what those can do with some boost, but I sold that because it had some engine ticking and only around 10k miles on the car.

I feel iffy on whether or not I liked the hellcat charger I had. It definitely had more modern amenities on the interior than the V2 has, but it's a large car and very heavy. Plus, that was the attention grabber car, people were always wanting to race or asking me to do stupid stuff in the worst possible scenarios on the street.

The RS3 is the car that I feel like I let get away. At the time I thought the car was too small and boring because of the stock power and AWD. But, I look back, and I want that AWD, I want the tech that the car had. If I had just put a little time and a okay amount of money into the car, it would have been an easy high 9 second street car and the traction to do so on the street. That inline five is a special engine.

Got it. Might hurt the resale a bit. But somebody will pay up for it! Anyways its still a nice V.

I love the 275 rears. I'll be putting 17" chrome ponies on my lx hatch if LMR ever gets them back in stock.

I keep tossing around just doing 17x8 on all 4 corners. Or doing 17x9 in rear with 275's. But I don't want clearance issues. At minimum I'll have to flip the quad shocks.

Trying to keep this car as stock as possible.
