I'm not on board with cryptos but I respect what has happened. To those who are dead set against cryptos like Buffett, explain to me the difference between a made up crypto that common people can actually trade, and a made up carbon credit that mostly only the elites can trot out to feel good about themselves. Both are made up with somewhat shaky foundations, but one is for the commoner and one is for the elite. Yet the elites are all onboard with carbon credits, even though as a commoner, I dont get credit for my trees and grass, and they do get credits, financed by our taxes, for changes in their business models that are most times benificial anyway.

King...meaning...highest Market Cap?

Everything. We see Bitcoin as the top crypto right now because of its dollar price and market share and I'm saying ETH is going to surpass Bitcoin in every way. We view BTC as #1 because it holds 50% of the market and ETH as #2 with 14% of the market currently and that will change in the future. ETH just has way more going for it than any other crypto because the majority of crypto is built off of ETH already. They have 5x more assets built off them than Bitcoin does. Hopefully I remembered those facts correctly but there is a great article that lays it out clearly I will try to find and post up.

do you think ETH will surpass $20k? If so when (i know.....just guesses)..Im just curious what your opinion is. Ive been high on ETH for a long time. Im also on board with ADA. ROI for those two IMO are great. Not sure where they are trajected to be EOY or end of this bullrun.

I've heard anything from $8k to over $20k by the end of this market cycle. Any of those could be right because they are mostly projected off different charts based off history. Some off ETH/USD, some off the ETH/BTC valuation. So I can't say what will really happen only that I'm along for the ride. I will probably begin to take some profits if it gets past $10k by the end of this year. Otherwise I'll continue to hold.

No idea on when price targets will hit but I don't even care to be honest. I personally think it will surpass the amounts we have seen so far from the likes of BTC, but I anticipate that it could take at least 5 years or more to get there depending on how things in the world and this country keep moving along.

I've been thinking this for a while now. Been mining Ethereum for over 3 1/2 years. The mining difficulty shot through the roof lately and I am getting a lot less ETH payout per week compared to prior weeks. And of course 3 years ago I was getting much bigger payouts.

But if the Ethereum price keeps shooting up it will remain profitable in USD terms. I have not yet converted any ETH to USD so it is all paper profits for me right now. Ethereum mining might be dead by the end of the year. Although I did see a new proposal to keep POW going for some transactions side by side with POS.

The one advantage Ethereum will have over Bitcoin is the green narrative that Proof of Stake (POS) brings. Bitcoin and Ethereum mining operations are currently consuming vast amounts of electricity. Bitcoin to a larger degree. Ethereum switching to POS will drastically reduce it's carbon footprint which will silence some critics.

Don't forget Cardano though. Right now it is staying out of the limelight but it's time will come as well. I think the demand in the world will be big enough where multiple blockchains will be necessary and they will all have to interoperate - kind of the way traditional banking has to.
