Give me a Raptor version and then I'll seriously consider one
Surprised at the 6k jump for the Lariat Crewcab 4x4.

Personally, I wouldn't mind owning one. I did read the other day that Ford is supposedly planning an even smaller truck, so everyone may get the "Ranger" they were hoping for.

My ass.

I love me some basic, wash out floor, crank window trucks.

Even though everyone says that is what they want, I’d bet more Lariats Platinum and Limiteds are sold than XLs and low option XLTs.

Not to mention profitibility. A low option, 25,000 dollar “Ranger” probably won’t make much money.

The market (whether realistically, or artificially) is fading out low option entry level vehicles in general.

Nobody wants basic anything, anymore.
I compared the window sticker of a fully loaded 2011 FX4 to a base 2019 and the price isnt far off yet the base model 2019 has far more options and an infinitely better powertrain and overall quality. Looks are kinda dissapointing but when you compare what you actually get in a basic truck vs the old one. Hard to complain.

I wouldn't buy one, but IMO it's a good looking truck. I like that specific color, too.

Really? Im surprised . I hardly ever see basic trucks anymore

I can't begin to tell you the number of XL Rangers that will be purchased by fleet companies, businesses, etc.

The local Autozones, OReilly's, etc will look like a used Ranger lot haha

As far as retail. I'd say the most retail sold will be $35-40k XLTs and base Lariats.

I bet. The XL will still be a nice setup to work out of. Hell the F150 XLs are nice as hell for a work truck.
