Wut ever happened to the basic truck?
My ass.
I love me some basic, wash out floor, crank window trucks.

I compared the window sticker of a fully loaded 2011 FX4 to a base 2019 and the price isnt far off yet the base model 2019 has far more options and an infinitely better powertrain and overall quality. Looks are kinda dissapointing but when you compare what you actually get in a basic truck vs the old one. Hard to complain.Nobody wants basic anything, anymore.
@13COBRA question for you. What is gonna sell more? The top level Lariat or the more basic truck?
The more basic truck, hands down.
Really? Im surprised . I hardly ever see basic trucks anymore
I wouldn't buy one, but IMO it's a good looking truck. I like that specific color, too.
I can't begin to tell you the number of XL Rangers that will be purchased by fleet companies, businesses, etc.
The local Autozones, OReilly's, etc will look like a used Ranger lot haha
As far as retail. I'd say the most retail sold will be $35-40k XLTs and base Lariats.
Give me a Raptor version and then I'll seriously consider one
Surprised at the 6k jump for the Lariat Crewcab 4x4.
Yeah it is, we have a bunch 18 XL’s.I bet. The XL will still be a nice setup to work out of. Hell the F150 XLs are nice as hell for a work truck.
The aftermarket will be there real quick with bolt on parts that'll be superior to the raptor.
