Barely used, because I switched to a MGW right after I bought the Tri-ax Now I have a T56 magnum, which uses a different shifter

    MGW shifter for T56

New, it came with only one (orange) handle . The handle rotates around the shaft, and can be set in any positions. This is what makes the MGW unique from other shifters.

SOLD This 3.5" Dampened DSS Aluminum driveshaft is too long for my application 99 GT + T56 Magnum, and was never installed. The 1350 pinion yoke (required for that driveshaft) was installed and then removed when we found out the shaft was too long, so it was never used. I bought them from the...

What is the purpose of this? (big opening on T56 Magnum)

Tranny already has a clutch fork/cable installed, must be for inspection, like 98 SVT said. Thanks

What is the purpose of this? (big opening on T56 Magnum)

See photo (up is up down is down) It is on the upper part of the tranny, but I still worry about water, dirt, etc, getting in there. Anyone know why it's there, and if there's any problems closing it up? (I was just going to use a metal plate and rtv) The red thing you see inside is my clutch...

First visit to the strip with the truetrac

Got a new best 1/8 MPH, although my 1/4 ET/MPH didn't quite beat my prev best. I couldn't believe it when I saw a 1/8 MPH of 107.76 mph on the slip (usually run 101-103). My only explanation is the truetrac differential I just put in. The car felt different right off the launch, I didn't have...

Detroit Truetrac durability on dragstrip with slicks, clutch dumps, etc

I know that a Detroit Locker or a spool would be better, but I would like to be able to turn occasionally. I've read a ton of mixed opinions about the truetrac. It's actually kind of odd: some people beat the hell out of them on the dragstrip with 600rwhp, slicks, clutch dumps, etc, and say...
