1/2 front 3/4 rear would not want to go any lower. drags on some drives now and on speed bumps.

my car sits lower than yours already.. im trying to go lower.. im thinking 1 1/4 up front and 1 in the rear.

im trying to get the tire and the fender to be at like 1" apart

5/8 cut all around with isos left in...rear could come down a little but my driveway is a litttle steep.

what do you guys use to cut the springs? How much is 1 coil and do you cut from the bottom or top of th e spring? Thanks!

grinder is what we used...what i was told 1 coil is = to about 1 inch and you cut the bottoms

When you and a passenger are in the car, it probably looks like they way your want. I think that it looks great the way it is.

Keep in mind the weight difference between 99/01 and 03/04 in the front. I don't know how our cars react to to 03/04 springs, but with aftermarket springs the front end doesn't drop as much on our cars. I'd probably start with 1 coil then go from there.

thanks for clearing that up.. i was about to cut one full coil off hahahahahah.

so 1" = 1 coil.

So would this be cutting 1 coil all around? Marked in red.

Yes, that would be 1 coil. Mark a point on the spring, trace the spring down with your finger, when your finger meets the point, that is one coil.
The springs also have a flat side - do not cut from this side.

Did anyone else use something else to cut their springs?

di-grinder or something like that. lol. i dont remember what its called..it took like 5 or 10 min to cut through

I thought for sure someone said that the dead coil (bottom/flat end) was the end you wanted to cut??
