Glock 30 in .45ACP with all supporting mods....

Colt Commander with supporting mods...

If all else fails I have to go with the "big un"...

I carry a makarov 9X18mm. I like it a lot, easy to conceal, shoots straight, and ammo is cheap. While I have been deployed my license expired. So I went in, showed them my orders, and asked to renew. She said, oh sorry, you will have to provide us with your training certificate, and wait while we process it, then we can mail it to you. I said, but the license in my hand couldn't be obtained without all that, and the training doesn't expire. So I will be wasting time on this r and r to get the darn thing renewed. Lovely OH. lol /end rant.

i dunno how you people trust those kel tec's...ive seen two brand new ones fired at the range and both misfired within 2 clips

Yeah you have to break them in for them to be reliable. I do not remember but I think it is roughly 100 rounds or so.

wow, that sure is a weapon I'd like to trust my life with :shrug:

its not breakin, its actually because the gun is so small the spring doesnt have enough coil to eject the cartridge.

you actually have to modify them with a stronger spring to make them any sort of reliable

good luck?! probably will take a long time and lots of trouble. look it up on the link i provided. it'll tell you pretty much anything about law and has links to the state sites to apply for permits.

How does one get a ccw in California?

You have to personally know a Sheriff, or someone that knows a Sheriff and is willing to vouch for your character. It really doesn't matter which county because there's CCW reciprocity between the counties in California., though your chances of getting a CCW are better in rural counties. In my case, my first cousin was the DA in a Northern California county and he made it happen. My cousin is no longer the DA of that county but the Sheriff is still there and I make sure to donate to his re election campaign on a yearly basis.
