do you mean sitting like sitting at a light, or like sitting as in the car being turned off?

might be a valve seal or pcv issue or possibly a bad ring.

after the car sits like if I turn it off at night and run it the next morning it will idle fine but as soon as I leave the driveway it smokes like hell. After that it runs fine. If I park it for a few hours and let it cool it will do it again.

hmm I talked to a friend tha owns a local shop and he said I might have some valve seepage?!? Hmm in that case I may be looking at pulling the heads for a valve train rebuild. If I go that far I will do cams and porting as well.

thats very complex and i don't want to generalize. The average hp for a stock head/cam 305 may be 360rwhp where as a full heads/cams 305 might make 420rwhp.

I can make some simple reccomendations but i don't know if i want to start guessing at power because that involves a lot more than the bottom end.
