I have not seen a thread dedicated to this incident. Found the case very interesting.
It perfectly accentuates how self defense is under attack, and it should really be last resort. Avoid AVOID AVOID, at all costs. Only when absolutely life or death situation. Or else you will be scrutinized and dissected by the legal apparatus.

And several portions of the trial, as well as listening to other professionals’ take on it, I feel as thought Miu’s actions were morally justified. But unfortunately for him even though the defense attorney did a terrific job, he made some monumental mistakes… These mistakes made it so that the trial’s outcome went against him. Legally got ****ed.
