Colder than a tranny's tits up there. Lot of different heaters running. If all 3 mud pumps are running, then in there with the muds is the place to hang out-nice and toasty.
Roust about work is not for the faint of heart my dad was in it for almost 2 years and so was only at home like 2 days a week and it wasn't set but all over the place like Mon and Thursday one week then the next was Sun and Friday.

Patterson UTI. H&P Flex rigs up there, too. Lots of Nabors. I'm a field tech. I work both Patterson and Nabors.

People buying into the green energy/climate change scam don't apparently have any idea how many products surrounding them in their daily lives are derived from hydrocarbons. They just hear about fuel/energy. Never hear any of the scam sponsors talking about how they are going to replace all of those derivatives and products.

Well deserved retirement. Enjoy. (Looking forward to when I can play with the toys whenever I want.)
My mechanics & electricians were invaluable to keep my rigs running. They took care of me & I made damn sure I took care of them. Had mostly really good hands too overall.
The green new scam is just that. A scam. Led by water headed retards cashing in on scare tactics aimed at the general public.
Gasoline , diesel, fuel oils are just the start of it. Electricity generation, pharmaceuticals, plastics.. 6500+ daily used items..the list is endless.
If John Kerry & his followers gave up petroleum they’d wither & die in less than a week.

On the rigs, we make our own. Here's a heartwarming pic from hitch I just finished in North Dakota...808 (in background) was on her own, then 286 moved in to keep her company, and now 806 is on a pad where I took the photo. 3 within walking distance of each other. Running Cat 3512 engines powering generators and just sucking that diesel fuel up daily... View attachment 1824941

I was thinking more of their thoughts back at home. They have all the enrgy they would ever need under their feet, yet can't keep the lights on. Considering the temps, I wouldn't be surprised to see serious injuries or deaths result from this.

Oh I got ya. Had similar thoughts up in North Dakota and Montana before starting back to Wyoming. So cold that survival requires dependable energy. Its that cold in WY now, too. I thought no one in North Dakota wants to depend on solar panels and wind turbines.

Here's another devious plot they have brewing. Starts with stopping energy exploration and production, along with ranching and grazing, but probably expands to prohibit motorized recreation, hunting, timber management, etc.

Good video:

When I stationed at Sembach AB, West Germany, we would go days at a time with fog and close to zero visibility. There is no possible way to build enough battery storage to cover the amount of time with no sun or wind. It is literal insanity.

The German bird holocaust will have to wait.

In the meantime, they've settled for murdering Humpback Whales.

Articles ~ a year old, but you get the idea.

IIRC, not sure what the current status of this cluster is, but I think the New Jersey wind farm was shot down.

Cranking up the coal and gas.

Travis, read or heard somewhere in just the past couple weeks, that the US has been quietly producing a record amount of oil and natural gas.

I thought huh? What?

I was going to look into it, but haven't yet.

I wouldn't doubt it. I know coal is rocking in WV/KY. Their problem is finding enough able bodied men that can pass a drug test to mine it.

But what'd I miss?

Ugh, I'm totally confused.

I "thought" we were way behind on drilling and pumping oil & gas? The fossil fuel industry was crying that they were being choked by biden.

Biden sold most of Americas SPR because... he could sell chyna cheap oil, and make America refill at higher $/barrel?

This is current production. Biden has raised royalty rates on public land and made permitting more difficult. Oil and gas companies have been constrained more by their own investors than by the govt.

SPR is all politics and not relevant to actual supply. It gets a lot of attention but it is insignificant in the scheme of things.
