Hats off to Ford for keeping this thing alive. This will be the last of the Mohicans with the Camaro, Challenger and Charger either going away or going golf cart. The window is closing rapidly if you want a V8, especially with a manual trans. I'm curious to see the reveal.

You don’t quite understand…even though industry and energy production are responsible for 66% of the worlds carbon emissions, we all need to buy EVs because 16% of carbon emissions come from transportation (passenger cars account for only a percentage of the 16% because planes, ships, etc are all lumped into the category). We need to get rid of ICE or we are all gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This car is a refreshed s550. I think the people wanting and looking forward to a complete, clean-slate redesign are going to be disappointed.
Question is (and if you already know the answer, please share a link), will the 5.0 be partnered with the Tremec 6 speed? Right now the only option for that combo is a Mach 1. Would be nice to get it in the GT. I think Mustang enthusiasts deserve it, so Ford will completely miss. LOL Moar Ecoboost premiums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd order a Mach 1 right now if that's what you're after.

Guess am keeping my ‘01 for another 20 years, the newer ones are fat and heavy. Unless this one has been on a serious diet, not much interest.

They may be heavy...but they will easily outrun your 01.

At that point, what does the weight matter?

My 01 is is about 600 at the wheel with the whippled terminator motor and T56. Not many around here in newer mustangs outrun me.
Not that I go looking much anymore

So you want ford to completely engineer a crank window system for a car that hasn't had crank windows in over a decade for the 10 people who'd buy it?

They've always sold a bare bones cloth interior base stereo gt. But long gone are the days of no power accessories. The cost to manufacture two door cards, two sets of door guts for the small number of sales is just not financially smart.
Ford puts crank windows in the XL trim Super Duty’s still…
