Looks really good. Has great locals. Can’t get on FireTV yet. Well you can just not officially. I use Hulu Live as it comparable and has Local channels.
Can you cast through with your phone?Carp glad you said that. 90% of my TVs I use a FireTV to stream.

That's what I do.
I've been using Hulu Live for about 6 months and like it. They just updated their Channel Guide and it's SO much better than it was. The Guide was my major complaint with Hulu before they updated it. Before, you couldn't go forward more than 2 days. Now I think it's 2 weeks.I have the Hulu also .
And am pretty happy with it for the amount of tv i watch

I've had YouTube TV for over a year and love it. It sucks they went up in price from $39 to $50 in that time, but they've added more channels so I can't complain. I get all my local channels and 95% of channels I care about. I use it on a hardwired LG tv with the app and a Roku streaming stick, and it works flawlessly on both. I guess if had one complaint, I wish accessing DVR content was a little easier.
They all are missing something. Hulu is missing AMC. Guess whose wife has to watch the Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. AAARGH! I picked up PHILO as it is cheap, fills in the gaps (looking at you AMC) and has a few neat channels.
YOUTUBETV is supposed to be on FireTV soon. As I said before, it really looks like a strong channel lineup. When available, I may switch but Hulu does have really good original programming.
Dont forget that you can get the local channels in BEAUTIFUL uncompressed HD, with an antenna. Picture is truly incredible.
Cutting the cord then turning around and spending $50 on a service defeats the purpose of cutting the cord in the first place.
Yep I bought a HD antenna off Amazon and love it. The problem is where we are at the channels are hit or miss.
If the locals are important, perhaps step things up with a better antenna, maybe even consider a rotor. Getting the antenna outside makes a huge difference. This might help, if you want to go this route.

I have been using DirectTV Now as a streaming service for about a year now and it is ok. only 20hrs DVR and no locals. Was wondering if anyone has YoutubeTV for streaming and how they like it.
PlaystationVue has both AMC and the BTN in their core package if you wanted to look at that. I've never used YouTubeTV so I don't know how it compares.Youtube TV is the only service that gives me AMC (for the Walking Dead), my locals, and Big Ten Network (Buckeye living in Nevada)
