when other mustang/sports car guys see me get in or out of mine, i get the standard "is that a real terminator?" conversation. i say yes. they say NICE!
that does not happen with any other mustang that i'm aware of.
i've never seen a clone of a modern gt500 or gt350.
nobody looks at a new mustang gt as being anything special. there is value in that, no matter what.
when i was shopping for a car, i found a 2008 or so gt500 with a whipple for $25k. i almost bought it, but i found my terminator and got it instead.
