I will put money on the GT500 starting in the low 60's and topping out at 75-80. I imagine the carbon package will be pricey.
So the base model is going to be cheaper than a GT350r?

Maybe I am wrong, but I still do not see the 2020 GT500 being $100K out the door if sold at MSRP. For Ford to price the GT500 in the $85K - 95K price range ($95K fully loaded) what market are they trying to reach? If Ford is wanting to be competitive in performance and price point (which they are) let's take a look at what the competition starts at:
2019 Dodge Challenger Redeye: MSRP $71,350
2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: MSRP $70,195
2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06: MSRP $80,590
2019 Ford Shelby GT350 (for comparison): $59,140
Historically Ford has never priced their GT500 models on par with the Z06, but perhaps that changes?
In my opinion, and I could be very wrong, Ford will MSRP the car in the $69,000 - $71,000 range for a base car, and option UP to $80,000 - $82,000. That is STILL a lot of cash to drop for a mustang IMO, but for the performance standpoint it is justifiable to many.
What funny is the people think the 500 is going to cost 30k more than the 350R.So the base model is going to be cheaper than a GT350r?

I dont account for adm. Gt350r was a 100k mustang too by that standardWith ADM that is accurate.
If talking straight MSRP a base gt500 should be mid 70s is my bet......

No, thats not its actual price, cant blame capitalismYou dont account for it? Hundreds, if not thousands of people paid an ADM.
Depending on price and availability, meaning I get to order it the way I want, I may entertain getting one. Still, depends on pricing still. ADM, of course.
I would like a Twister Orange or Grabber Lime with black roof, Track Pak and carbon fiber package.
I wonder when pricing will be released. Does anyone know?
the fact that we're even talking about mustang's going for almost $70-100k is just pure insanity. I've driven a new mustang and not a god damn thing about it makes me think it's worth it's asking price.
can you tell us what the highest and lowest price on 350s ovr and under msrp with options was?You dont account for it? Hundreds, if not thousands of people paid an ADM.
You are correct sir. Great memory.I seem to recall that you are in line for Z06 or ZR1? Am I mistaken?
Me not in for S550 GT500 anytime soon. Next whip will likely be a gen 6 ZL1 1LE or maybe C7 Z06.

oh, you mean its a free market and some people paid less than others for the exact same product? amazing what happens when the free market is .. free
HA HAAAAAAAAAAhhh, gotcha. So even though folks paid x amount, that wasn't the real price.
LOL. Are you a man, or do you just identify as one?

I think this assumption is spot on or very close. Ford needs to be careful where they price point this. Too low and every car would be snatched up quicker than you say WTF. This could piss off a bunch of people wanting the dar they can afford.
Price it too high and I think pushing it to $85K or above puts it out of reach for their target audience and then the backlash starts about an overpriced mustang.

So cheaper than a GT350r for the new base model 500? Doubtful.
Also.. some of the car's competitors fall exactly into the higher bracket. Redeye Hellcats are over $80k... 1LE ZL1 Camaros are over $70k (though they can be had a nice discounts), and BMW's M products are well into the $80's and beyond.
This car is no longer a "muscle car". It has matured and now captures the Porsche, AMG, and BMW audience and will likely be priced accordingly.
There will absolutely be GT500's sold for $100K+ in the first year once ADM's are tagged on.
You and Kaneda belong together in ignorance, msrp is msrp bottom line but I get it though, its not made in china so you dont want it.Ahhh, gotcha. So even though folks paid x amount, that wasn't the real price.
