The snake on that air bag cover isn't that of the most recent GT350 and does look to be what Ford is using on the upcoming GT500. The snake's "ribbing" differs. As to the red eye color, I wouldn't think Ford would feel it necessary to stoop to mimicry/gimmickry.

Based on the past, Ford may release some information to the press on the eve of the show with the understanding that it is to not be released until it is announced at the show.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle it this time and if they are willing to let anything go prior to the official introduction.

Of course they will. It's called EMBARGOED info. Most major auto press will know the details beforehand so their stories can be filed.

I know precisely what it is referred to. The distinction you miss is the very point I was trying to make - this isn't the same Ford we knew when the GT350/Ford GT were announced. So be prepared for anything this time around. Or nothing (until 8:40am that is), if that is how Ford chooses to play it.

That’s a number that generally gets released well after the reveal of a car. And again, no one in the know is going to tell you shit.
