Whoa, great numbers/clean install. I'm impressed.

I really think the snout pressure on the crank is what helps murder OPG's and the sprocket. Considering belt driven superchargers drive load thru the roof and balancers carry much of that, it's not surprising people disintegrate parts nearby.

I have a feeling you'll be alright till you tear down/swap the longblock out.

seen plenty of TT cars break OPGs.....appears RPMs has a contributing factor as well

I don't know man, I really don't. I'm just listening to the advice of my tuner and builder. The tuner's personal car, the same setup except for Hellions, lasted at 900RWHP before he got rid of it for a 2018.

Damn thats a lot of power for the stock pump.

Thanks!

I'm nearly deaf, so a little wind noise won't bother me :p

Seriously though, awesome build and I can't even fathom what a pull would feel like.

It's scary fast to me. I'm sure to someone out there it's just another car

But an auto TT turning 6,800-6,900 with no two step? I can't seem to find an example. Not saying it hasn't or won't happen though.

Thanks man, I knew you'd be a fan. I talked about doing it long enough and finally pulled the trigger.

I'm not sure it'll ever make a trip to the track as if it starts hooking, a lot of stuff is gonna end up broke. It's literally a stock car with twins making 815/833. Lol

Yep that’s my plan on mine. Twins or a large single (CG Fabrications—drool!) and enough fuel to make it all work. Other than that, stock.

So MBO, I guess.

Get that pig to the track! Just leave easy then let her back half.

Your car looks great... but I’m a bit biased I suppose.

MBO = May Break Objects

Thanks again man. My race on the 15th with the modded '13-14 GT500 will really show me what this car does.

Update: My car started blowing smoke waiting in a car show line on Saturday. Turns out my passenger side turbo has shit the bed. Fortunately it's only a $309 turbo, so a replacement is in route. I plan to upgrade to ceramic ball bearing Precision's in the winter, as well as a couple other things, but overall I'm happy that this combination lasted roughly 20K miles before anything major happened.

car looks great and i bet it sounds mean with the TT's and the power its making probably surprises alot of unspecting people. did you endup getting a boost controller?

my understanding about opgs breaking is that its not going up the rpms or the amount of power that breaks them but bouncing off the limiter(2 step or rev limiter), its due to the chain abruptly stopping and starting during the limiter event?

For the time being I have a manual Turbosmart boost controller. Just a set it and forget it kind of deal. Winter plans call for the Precision turbos, a Boost Leash and actual fuel system because I'm pretty sure I wanna turn the wick up (1000RWHP). From there I'll just starting fixing whatever breaks.
