I just got rid of my Jeep SRT for the very reasons you list. Absolutely an awesome daily driver, but the costs were just too much.

I was pretty disappointed in the e46 M3 I had. It was an absolutely incredible chassis with excellent handling. The only problem was that it made no torque...I need torque in my life to have fun, and 200 ft-lbs doesn't cut-it.
I had one and miss it dearly. Great handling, beautiful interior, and a real head turner. Mine got caught in a hail storm in Croatia, so I sold it and bought the GT500.

Three things: Transmissions, Radiators, Thermostat Housings....my god.
Fixed all three on my 06 lol
Just had to have the trans serviced at 100k but they went fine till 185k
Replaced the radiator at 150, t stat and housing twice

Easy 96-98 NPI Mustang GT. Had a 96 slow as balls bought it in 2005 right before graduating H.S. Nice car but slow as all get out. Neighbors hated me BBK O/R X and SLP LM1’s dumped.

Silverado SS - Major fail at copying the Lightning

Second gen Taurus SHO - Half ass attempt at a sports sedan

Gen 3 Vipers - Lacked the soul of the gen 2's. All around crappy effort.

Totally agree with the 15-17 mustang GT dissapointment. Had one as a rental for a month in Maui and was excited....for about 2 days. Dissapointing in so many areas.

ANY Camaro SS from the last 10 years. Interior is hot GARBAGE in so many ways, and its just too damn heavy. Nice HP numbers dont matter when its a total pig.

Lexus RC. Sick body style but underpowered engine options and heavy as **** on top of that. WTF, lexus/toyota.

2015+ Corvette. Im almost 6’4” and fit fine in the C6 and C5. I’d LOVE to tell you all how epic the C7 might be but i cant FIT IN THE DAMN thing due to my height. I adjusted the sport and base seats every which way to sunday and couldnt find the ‘sweet spot’ where my head wasnt touching the roof. One speedbump and my dome potentially crunches. Nice work, GM dipshits.

current 2013 5.0 mustang. some days i hate everything about it. Solid axle jumps like crazy over small bumps. then other days i walk up to it all nice and all clean and the stance and wheels look just right. Paid for cars look decent i guess.

I wish the driving experience matched the looks.

The Lexus N/A 5.0L is a little long in the tooth, and needs forced induction to be more relevant in the segments they compete in.
I heard a rumor that there’s a TT model LC F currently under development. But I’m curious how the LC H is going to do.

2013 and up Ford Fusion. We owned a 2006 SEL that was simply a great car. We had a ball joint fail at 144,000 miles, and that was it. I loved that car. We bought a 2013 Titanium and had nothing but problems with it all the way up to 71,000 miles when the transmission went out. The quality, power and fuel economy was disappointing. They will never live up to the first generation fusion with the 3.0

Everything else that disappointed me doesn't match up to the 2013 Fusion. We loved the looks of it so much, and it's the only car we've ever owned that I don't miss in some way because of how many issues we had with it.

I threw my F150 in the shop to fix a dent and rented a Competition Orange V8 Challenger. I could have driven my Procharged 15 GT but I get home at 0630 and my exhaust is stupid loud. I love the way the Challengers look but I can honestly say I hate the interior and how it feels like I'm driving a 98 Buick Boat. I have a deeper appreciation for mine now.

That little car would have been insane if it had came from the factory with the STi turbo motor. I'm not saying that I would own one, but I would probably own one.
...

A 2900 lbs sports car with 305HP? Yes, please!

...
And in reality I can't ever imagine being happy buying a car with the base motor even if it's a decent engine. ... I couldn't live knowing that I could have had a better, more powerful engine in it.

...

I'm the same way. If it doesn't have the top engine, I don't want it. That is, unless it's something stupidly expensive, i.e. Mercedes S550 versus S65 AMG.

It can. What have you done with the suspension so far?

In all fairness, if everyone of them didn't get a tuner slapped on it, they probably would have held up as well as any other diesel.

I don't know about that. The 6.0 was known as having the 6.0 woes for a reason. It was a first in a lot of ways technology wise for being in a passenger truck. It had its issues, and Ford won't deny that. Part of the reason they only made it for three years.

Oops. Thanks for correcting me. Either way, Ford would still probably be in bed with Navistar if it wasn't for the 6.0 poor performance due to more than just the egr cooler. I have a friend who had a 6.0 with 22,000 miles he bought new. The injection pump went out and Ford voided his warranty due to dirty fuel....

It's a great engine when head studs are installed and all emissions are removed.
