I have no front sway bar and I could not tell a difference. I have the BMR radiator support so it saved some weight too.
Awesome, great to know thank you!I have no front sway bar and I could not tell a difference. I have the BMR radiator support so it saved some weight too.
If you have aftermarket springs you'll have a hard time knowing if the front sway bar is there or not as long as you aren't autocrossing. I haven't had a front sway bar since my car was new. Now if you remove your rear sway bar also the car will feel terrible.
I have BMR springs and even with my strange struts set to full firm I can tell.
Driving Situation where you have to be crazy not to feel:
Going down interstate and a shedder tire appears in your lane. Truck in front can drive over it, so you don't see it until last second. You dodge the tire.
With sway bar, normal feel and collision avoided.
Without sway bar, feels like 1970s Cadillac and COULD cause you to lose control.
Now, if changing to coilovers or sportlines/H&R super sports can make that much less apparent and true then I'm all game.

My setup also consists of BMR (drag) springs and strange struts, but mine stay at full soft, I also run a skinny 215 front tire. Car feels fine to me and everyone else that has been in my car.
I'm sorry if making quick emergency maneuvers is what you consider daily/normal driving, but in the 6 years I've been driving without a front sway bar I've never once felt unsafe with my setup and it's never felt like a "1970's Cadillac".
It's obvious you don't like how the car feels without a front sway bar due to your driving style. I would stay far away from this kit and a couple other kits as well if I were you. The way I drive my car as well as many others, there is no noticeable drawback to removing it and I would encourage everyone that is interested in this kit to remove their front sway bar before buying it and come up with their own opinion instead of relying on what someone posted on a forum.
I have not yet. I have been told I should receive the kit late January/early February so I would imagine that I will be seeing it soon!Have you received your kit yet?
Have you received your kit yet?
Well good and bad. I did received the kit unfortunately when I got it the first time I was missing all of the charge pipes and had extra exhaust pipes and had to wait for on3 to send me the missing charge pipes. The kit looked well put together and had almost everything covered except for install instructions. This to me was a deal breaker. With the amount of items that need to be relocated, cut or replaced I did not feel that my mechanical level was up to the task for this project and traded the kit to someone local to me for his Paxton setup with a torque booster kit. He has since started the install and has run into a couple issues dealing with the AC lines and relocation of some items. I will try to keep you updated with his progress but it seems that Rob S. from Palm Beach Dyno had the kit installed and has tuned one with great success and great torque numbers!
Don't count on any good instructions with an ON3 kit. I installed their TT kit on my 2014 car and it took me well over 50 hours to do it by myself. I consider myself pretty damn mechanically inclined having rebuilt several motors, transmissions, and rear ends by hand in my garage.
Where on3 shines is the bang for the buck. My 2014 car went 10.8@131 with something like 9 psi if I remember right. It flat out performed outstanding and was making at least 650 whp.. probably more as I was m6 shifting gears.
Post some pics of your kit!!
Yep that's correct it goes in the same location as CPR and I heard they don't have the backpressure issues that some of the other older single kits had.Wow man looks killer. This is their new single kit that puts the turbo in position similar to CPR, correct?
